Shirley Harris Tomblin, 86, of Spindale, passed away Saturday, April 4, 2020 at Fair Haven of Bostic. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Gaither and Lillie Gamble Harris. Shirley was Office Manager for Drs. England and Godfrey for thirty years and a member of Spencer Baptist Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Mary Kathryn Taylor and husband Michael of Rutherfordton; granddaughter Emily Kathryn Ricard and husband Travis of Greenville, SC; sister, Dot Culbertson of Forest City; brother Cecil Harris and wife Susan of Newnan, GA; sisters-in-law Julia Harris of Claremont and Pat Tomblin of Forest City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Tomblin, sisters, Olema and Lucy Harris, brothers, James, Ernest and Frank Harris.

Services will be private.
