Condolence: All prayers from the family of Wallace Ruppe uplifted. We always thought the world of Howard. I don't know how many times daddy called him for advice about either theirs or my well and as usual he would invariably show up with a helper and just volunteer to fix it with what little help I could offer. I don't know if his helper was a grandson or some other relative but he always got the money daddy offered Howard for the job of pulling the water lines and the pump, which is no easy task. RIP Mr. Champion. You are/were always a good, good man to us.
Condolence: Howard was a wonderful person who would do anything he could to help his neighbor or the stranger. He and his loving wife (Miss Aline) were faithful and loving in their marriage and family.
My lineage to Howard (Champ) was through my Grandfather, U.A. Champion. My grandfather was a brother to Howard's Father, (Baxter). When serving Forest City on the police force, I got to know Champ through both of us working for Lutz Oil. I was so blessed to know Champ and his precious wife and enjoyed working with Howard. He has joined his dear wife in Heaven and one day, I shall see them again! God Bless You Dear Family. May the Lord shower you with His Peace!

Condolence: Howard was a true hero, for his country and his community. He earned his angels wings here on earth doing for others and always putting others ahead of himself. We truly loved this man and he will never be replaced. Steve has always said Howard was his true hero. God bless you all. Our love and prayers go out to you. Love, Ginger and Steve
