Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Gary Groves can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Gary Glenn Groves

Gary Glenn  Groves
Gary Groves, 60, of Union Mills, died Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Charles George VA Center. A native of Fort Huachcua, Arizona, he was the son of William Howard Groves and the late Maxine Barnes Groves. He was a mail carrier and a US Air Force veteran.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Pamela Jean Ragsdale Groves; daughter, Jacqueline Groves; son, Ashdon Stanfield Groves; stepdaughter Tina Hinojosa; four grandchildren; brother, Jeff Groves; sisters, Stephanie Sutay and Cheryl Adams.

Memorial services will be held 4PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Green Hill Baptist Church with Rev. John Bridges officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Honor Guard. Burial will be held at 2PM Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at WNC Veterans cemetery in Black Mountain. The family will leave Crowe’s Mortuary at 12:15 to travel to the cemetery.
