Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Wayne Millwood can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Wayne Edward Millwood age 72 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away on September the 4th 2016 at Hospice House. Wayne was the son of the late John Henry and Lucy Lorene Padgett Millwood.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years Patricia Millwood of the home; son Gregory Lynn Millwood and wife Shelby of Mooresboro, NC; son William Douglas Millwood and wife Margaret of Spindale, NC; son John Nolen Millwood and wife Naomi of Bostic, NC; son Brian Edward Millwood of Rutherfordton, NC; brother Franklin Millwood of Mt Vernon Community; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Donald Millwood and a sister Merita Huntley.

The family will receive friends from 10-11AM on Wednesday September the 7th at Glenwood Baptist Church 461 Bostic Sunshine Highway Bostic NC 28018. Services will be held at 11:00AM with the Reverend Jason Toney officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
