Tamara Morrow Tate, age 75, cherished wife of Donald Tate, to whom she was happily married for 56 years, passed away Saturday morning at Rutherford Hospital. Tamara was a native of Rutherford County and was preceded in death by her parents Paul R. Morrow and Myrtle Marie Crowe Morrow and a brother Allen Dean Morrow. She was a graduate of RS Central High School and upon her retirement from Rutherford Hospital Medical Records Department, was the longest tenured employee of Rutherford Hospital with 48 years of service.
In addition to her husband Donald, she leaves to cherish her memory a son Christopher Scott Tate; grandsons Brian Christopher Tate and Michael Donald Tate; special grandchild Mattie Wilson; sisters Paulette Ward and Annette Wilson.
A service to celebrate the life of Tamara Tate will be held 2 PM Monday at Adaville Baptist Church with the Rev. Jim Whitlow officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friend from 12-2 PM Monday at the church prior to the service.
