To Steve Long Family: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Steve. You do not know me, however I met Steve many years ago when we were active in the Western Chapter of the North Carolina Society of Surveyors. I am a Professional Land Surveyor (RLS) as well and have kept up with Steve over the years through my fellow Surveyors. I have noted his on-going illness for many years, and admired his endurance to battle and keep going. Steve was one of the greatest and loving persons I have ever met. He had a heart for people and expressed kindness in all dealings. Please know that my prayers and thoughts are with all of you during this time of bereavement and loss of a family member.
