Sarah Elizabeth Johnson, 77, of Rutherfordton, died Friday, July 10 at Rutherford Hospital. She was a native of Rutherford County and a daughter of the late Alma Koon Morgan. She was a member of Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church and former owner of Sarah's Home Cooking of Rutherfordton. She was employed by Scoggin's Seafood and Steaks.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Greene and Deborah Prince of Rutherfordton; one son, Keith Timothy Johnson of Rutherfordton; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 13 at 3 PM at Crowe's Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Mt. Hebron United Methodist Church cemetery.
