Robbie Thompson age 54 of Rutherfordton, NC passed away at home on September the 12th 2015. Robbie worked for CPL Trucking in Greer SC and was the son of Kenneth and Joan Blanton Thompson. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Cindy Lawing Thompson; daughter Alex Thompson; stepson Seth Wellmon; Sister Kelley Tomblin; Brother Bryan Thompson; Services will be held Monday September the 14th 2015 at Mountain Creek Baptist Church at 3:00PM with the Rev. Charles McClure and Rev. Brent Frady officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
