Obituary for Ricky Lee Gee
Ricky Lee Gee, age 63, of 133 Setzer St. Spindale passed away Wednesday December 2, 2015 at Hospice House. Ricky was a native of York County, SC and a US Air Force Veteran of the Vietnam War. He loved music, was an accomplished drummer and an avid Carolina Panther fan.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents Truman Lee Gee and Ella Mae Moss Gee as well as a sister Roxanne Preston.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Jamie Gee and fiancée Amber Dalton of Spindale, daughter Brette Evans of Ellenboro; grandchildren Gavin and Ian Evans of Ellenboro; brother Walter Gee of Spindale; sisters Shirley Rice of Rutherfordton and Pamela Pitman of Raleigh.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Friday at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Mr. Glenn Head officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 1-2 Pm prior to the service.
