I was saddened this morning to learn of Jan's passing. She was a great friend to me during my years in Forest City. Jan demonstrated kindness and Christ-Like love to all of those around her. I loved to hear her stories of growing up in Rutherford County and of her adventures in California. Thank you, Jan, for your friendship and for all the laughter we shared.
