Obituary for Max Roy Emory

Max Roy  Emory
Max Roy Emory Sr., age 75, of 120 S. Hillside St. Rutherfordton passed away Monday July 7 at his home.
Max was a native of Rutherford County, a US Army Veteran and a retired textile employee.
He was preceded in death by his parents Vernon and Esmer Hawkins Emory, wives Emily Kay Barr Emory and Mary Cruise Emory; brother John Emory and sister Nellie Mae Godfrey.
Left to cherish his memory are his son Max Emory Jr. of Duncan, SC; brother Howard Emory of Forest City, Dean Emory of Campobello and David Emory of Ellenboro; sister Mary Lou West of Green Hill and Ann Emory of Forest City.
Graveside services will be 2 PM Tuesday July 15, 2014 at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Rev. John Perry officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
