Mary Lillian  Flack (Goode)

Mary Lillian Goode Flack, 98, of Rutherfordton, died Monday, March 17, 2014 at White Oak Manor. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Addie L. and Eva Allen Goode. She was retired from the furniture industry and a member of Mt. Hebron Methodist Church. Formerly she was a member of Round Hill Baptist Church.

Mary is survived by her brother Fred Goode of Forest City; sisters Alice Coggins, Elizabeth Logan and Iris Ann Trammel of Forest City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, R.C.Flack Jr; brothers Howard Goode, Julian Goode, and Norman Goode; sisters Estilene Waters and Edna Allen.
Memorial services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Rev. Dennis Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
