Mrs. Hudson was one of my 8th grade teachers at Rutherfordton Elementary. She was truly a wonderful teacher. She was a lovely person, always professional, pleasant, and fair. Mrs. Hudson and other teachers at the school are why I became a teacher. I did not realize she was a veteran and I am so impressed. Please accept my deepest sympathy. Jeanie Hendrick Robertson

Mrs Hudson was my 8th grade teacher. I have never forgotten her perfect combination of toughness and compassion. She made a lasting impact on my life . Many of my teachers I don't remember that well but her memory has stayed with me. I still remember her stories of growing up that she shared with us.
My condolences to the family . RIP Mrs Hudson, you did your job well!!

Mrs. Hudson was my 8th grade teacher at Mt. Vernon School. Very fair and nice person. Fair and kind to all students as I recall.
I did not realize at the time (8th grade) she had a military background. Very interesting to read about her.
I hope she enjoyed her teaching career after Mt. Vernon. Sylvia Hedin

A wonderful lady. I wish I had have let her teach me more when I was in school but I was a stubborn junior high student. She was very patient and very kind.
