Obituary for Lois Virginia Goode
Lois Virginia Tate Goode, age 88, wife of William Francis Goode of Forest City passed away Sunday at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Lois was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church and a homemaker.
Lois was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ethel Alexander Tate and a number of brothers and sisters.
Left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband William are her children Joe Goode of Shelby, Norris Goode of Charlotte and Margaret Ann (Joe) Logan of Mt. Pleasant, SC and 1 grandchild Moriah Logan.
A service to celebrate the life of Lois Goode will be held at 2 PM Tuesday at Mount Vernon Baptist Church with the Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County P.O. Box 336 Forest City, NC 28043
