Kathy Ann Gilbert Ward age 59 of Polk County, NC passed away on April the 25th 2017 at her home. Kathy was the daughter of Marie Williams Gilbert and the late A.C. Gilbert. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Michael Ward; son Dwight Michael Ward (Emily); daughter Michelle Mills (Taylor); grandchildren Natalie Hudson, Gracie Fletcher, Kyler Ward, Kalie Ward, Cassidy Ward; sisters Becky Collins (Terry) and Angel Hyder (Scott); A celebration of life will be held at Sunnyview Club House on Friday April the 28th at 6:00PM with the Rev. Warren Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Online condolences may be made at www.crowemortuary.com. Flowers and plants are welcome but donations may be made to Thermal Belt Outreach 134 White Drive Columbus NC 28722. Kathy was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother, full of love for her family; it brought her joy to spend time with them. She will be greatly missed.
