Joyce Mae Harrill Wall, age 91 went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, January 6, 2022 while being cared for at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills in Forest City, NC.
A native of Rutherford County, she is a daughter of the late Arthur and Essie Hardin Harrill and was a former employee of the textile industry.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband Hubert Wall; two daughters, Patricia Bishop, Linda Justice and husband Henry; four granddaughters, Lisa Bishop, Kristen Bishop, Lacy Arnette and Lindsay Thomas; seven great grandchildren, and a number of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held 1 PM Monday, January 10, 2022 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139 with Dr. Scott Courtney officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 1. A private burial will be held at Eternal Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made at humanesociety.org.
