Joyce Naomi Fortenberry Hames 86, of Bostic passed away on December 2, 2020. She was the wife of the late Larston “Bud” Hames. Joyce worked as a line worker at Aeroquip.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons; Rev. Jerry Hames (Rhonda), Kenny Hames (Wanda), daughters; Mary Ann Hames, Virginia Dobbins (Roger) and Robin Hewitt; six grandchildren, two step grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren; and a sister in law, Virginia Robbins.
The family would like to thank Stephanie Lowery for her love and support during Joyce’s illness.
A graveside service is scheduled for Saturday December 5, 2020 at 2PM, Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Jerry Hames officiating. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Restoration Church Vision Fund, 133 Gardenbrook Drive, Forest City, NC 28043.
