So glad my husband Josh and I were introduced to Joe by his son Stacy and wife Sherrie whom we count as our closest of friends. Joe welcomed us into his home upon meeting him the first time. We spent all weekend on the lake boating, eating sitting on his porch with long talks. I've never met anyone to invite complete strangers to stay in his home, feed you and treat you like family! After that we always made sure we visited Joe when we came to Rumbling Bald. Great memories with him. I will always remember the times on his porch or at the club hearing his stories of his childhood and even his advise on business. Again, what a man! From complete strangers to treating us like family. Only Joe Beam would do that! Will truly miss you Joe!
