Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Mode can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for James Blaine Mode

James Blaine  Mode
Jim Mode, age 77, of 1031 Romey Campbell Rd. Ellenboro passed away Saturday at his home. Jim was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Duncan’s Creek Presbyterian Church, an army veteran and retired independent truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents Festus and Maude Mosteller Mode and a brother John Fredrick Mode.
Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Brenda Johnson Mode ; 4 step children; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; a nephew and sister in law.
Memorial services will be conducted at 2 PM Sunday Nov. 15, 2015 at Duncan’s Creek Presbyterian Church with Rev. Albert Shaw, Pastor Betty Shaw and Rev. Max Burgin officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Duncan’s Creek Presbyterian Church.
Crowe’s Mortuary & Crematory is assisting the family.
