The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Jack Greco can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Mrs. Greco, Anthony, Chris & Jon, I am so sorry for your loss. Jack was a great role model and inspiration growing up. We were so blessed to have him as a coach and a friend. From the tennis courts at Cleghorn, to Seabrook Island to your house on Christmas Eve, Jack was always a positive influence on all of us. I hope I can have the same impact on my sons friends that Jack had on me!
God Bless and much Love! Brett, Christy, Cole & Gage Tanner

Condolence: Mr. Greco,

How I dreaded coming into 2nd period Latin every year for four years. BUT when you were the instructor, I felt like I actually knew what I was doing. You instilled the confidence in me to keep going even if I got behind in homework, tests, etc. You were the power behind my mind and the care in my heart to keep me afloat. You were one of the first people who came up to me and told me everything was going to be okay when my dad was paralyzed from a hunting accident. Students would always gossip about you being in the "mob," and you would always joke and say, "Yeah, I knew Capone." I didn't know you outside of school, but I do know this about you. You had a heart of gold and we all miss you. The students you touched, and the family you left behind. I hope when I get to heaven, you can continue to teach me. Until then, your wonderful memories will never be forgotten. Iam liber es. Now you are free.

Condolence: There was no one like Jack. He was always smiling & so happy. He always talked to me as if everything I had to say was important. Every Christmas he gave the Postal clerks in Rutherfordton cookies. It meant so much to us. My condolences to Mary Ann & his sons & grandchildren. He will be missed by so many people.

Condolence: Jack stepped up to coach the RS Central boy's tennis team last spring. I know I wasn't the only parent grateful to him for giving his time and energy to our sons. He had a passion for tennis that was evident in the way he coached our young men. We were shocked to hear of his passing and send our prayers and condolences to his family. The team will miss Jack.
