Herman Eplee, age 81, of Ellenboro, NC passed away on December 23rd at his home. Herman was the son of the late Alonzo Albert and Margaret Whiteside Eplee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Shirley Ables Eplee; daughters Joyce Tallent (Kenny), Sarah Whitlock (Barry), Clara Hauser (Blair), and Kathy Phillips (Kenny); grandchildren Matthew, Karah, Taylor, Brooke (Cody), Haylee, Ashley, Danielle, Shelly and KJ; Great Grandchildren Jenny, Colton, Zoey, Payton, Shelby, Blayden, Malia, and Mason; Siblings Edward Eplee, Bernice Weaver (Gene), Donnie Eplee (Trisha), and Lois Lindsay (Ray); and a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings Roy Eplee, and Lucille Martin. Services will be held on Friday December 27, 2019 at 11AM Crowe’s Funeral Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.
