Obituary for Gilles Robert Baillargeon

Gilles Robert Baillargeon
Gilles Robert Baillargeon age 72, of Rutherfordton, passed on April 26, 2017 at Hospice House of Forest City. He was the “Jack of All Trades” but was the owner of several restaurants. Gilles was the son of the late Delphis and Alexandrine Duval Baillargeon.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Linda Todd Baillargeon of the home; son, Gilles Robert Baillargeon Jr. of Punta Gorda, FL; daughter, Katrina Sue Baillargeon Sullivan of Cape Coral, FL; brothers, Gaitan Baillargeon of NH, Roger Baillargeon of NH; sisters, Noel Sinsabaugh of Kennebunk ME, Jenny Iverson of Hampton NH, Pauline Weeks of Laconia, NH, Teresa Kimball of Laconia, NH, Fran Baillargeon of Orlando, FL and Jean Glauser of St. Petersburg FL; grandchildren, Lindsay Baillargeon, Tyler Baillargeon, Klarissa Grumbo, Brianna Grumbo and Earl Sullivan; great granddaughter, Kamryn Baillargeon. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother Robert Baillargeon. Gilles leaves behind his two beloved dogs, Gringa and Charley. However, there are many who passed before him and are waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge. Gilles completed many different things on his bucket list, one of which was to build a log cabin in Rutherford County which he completed, loved and enjoyed. He is probably building in Heaven and saying “just one more”.

A memorial service will be held at Crowe’s Chapel on Thursday, April 27th at 9:30 AM.. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to The Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County FL, 3519 Drance Street, Port Charlotte FL 33980; or ROPC Royal Order of Ponce Deleon Conquistadors Foundation Inc. PO Box 510664 Punta Gorda FL 33951-0664.
