Freida Jo Hardin Yelton, 72 of Rutherfordton passed away on December 27, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Freida leaves behind her husband, Dennis Ray Yelton. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Newton Hardin and Eunice Digh Hardin. Freida was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Freida’s family meant everything to her and she loved taking care of them.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind a daughter, Denise Kay Jones and husband Brian Jones, and a son, Dennis Ray Yelton II and wife Misty White Yelton. Freida loved her grandchildren, Katelynn Paige Jones, Dennis Ray Yelton III, Ridge Carter Jones and a precious family dog, Tinker. Freida is also survived by her siblings Sylvia Searcy and Rita Lane.
In addition to her parents Freida was preceded in death by her siblings, Wyman Hardin and Nelma Rhodes.
