Donna Lynn

In memory of

Donna Lynn Jackson Boyd

1963 - 2016

The baby is on the way!  We have to make preparations.  Let’s get a crib for her to sleep here at Grandmother’s house. Busily the arrangements were made to welcome that bundle of joy.  It had been years since the Jackson Family had been blessed with a new member of the clan.  And then she arrived, a beautiful smiling face framed by striking red hair.

Donna Lynn brought into this world through the love of her parents and the support of family and friends.  She experienced the typical rural childhood full of Easter dresses, patent leather shoes, Vacation Bible School, choir practices, piano lessons, and the Christmas morning rush through presents in order to arrive at grandparents for lunch and supper.  All too soon she grew into a lovely young lady.

Singing and playing piano, she warmed the hearts of many as she praised her Savior and Heavenly Father.  What a spirit was in her voice and emotion in her piano keys. This was a testimony to her awareness of a mighty power in the blood.  This is what she clung too in times of prosperity or despair.

Donna met this cold world with a soft heart and determination to work hard at it.  She did.  Many storms washed over her and she kept standing by the help of God Almighty and a loving family.

Can’t you just hear those songs rolling out of her?  See those dark eyes twinkle in the presence of Jesus as that striking red hair frames a smile?

What a friend she has in Jesus as she walks with the Lord in the light of his word just having a little talk with Jesus in the sweet by and by while she strolls over Heaven.

In loving memory,

Your cousin
