Donald Bruce Kelly
Mr. Donald Bruce Kelly age 72 went home to be with The Lord on Thursday September 17, 2015 while at Hospice House in Forest City, NC. A native of Rutherford County he was a son of the late John William Kelly, Sr. and Mildred Condrey Kelly. Donald was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church and a retired textile employee. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Brenda Kelly of the home, children Mealony Owens, Timothy Owens and wife Dana, Joy Johnson and husband Rick, David Bruce Kelly, Sr. and David Bruce Kelly, Jr.; one brother John William Kelly, Jr. and wife Maxine, six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held 2 PM Sunday September 20, 2015 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Nebo, NC with Rev. Ernie Cole and Rev. Steven Painter officiating. The family will greet friends in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Rutherford County Hospice P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043 or to Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery Fund 1372 Macedonia Church Loop, Nebo NC 28761.
