Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Deborah Hollifield can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Deborah Lynn Hollifield (Bailey)
Deborah “Debbie” Lynn Bailey Hollifield, 56, of Rutherfordton, passed away on Tuesday, April 01, 2014 at her residence. She was a native of Rutherford County and daughter of Lillian Jane Copenhaver of Kings Mountain, NC and the late Theron Columbus Bailey, Jr. of Bostic, NC. She was a graduate of Appalachian State and worked as a Continuing Education Coordinator at Isothermal Community College. Debbie was a member of St. Francis Episcopal Church.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband Morris Hollifield, children, Tamarah-Jean Michelle Hill and Jason Michael Hill, grandchild Ethan Jonah Smith and brother Cris Bailey; stepmother Linda Bailey of Bostic, NC.

A memorial will be held at 2:00 on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at St. Francis Episcopal Church with Rev. Christine Fair Beebe officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
