Columbus Junior Hensley age 80 of 2730 Maple Creek Rd Rutherfordton died Monday at Oak Grove Health Care. He was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and retired from Broyhill Furniture Company.

He was preceded in death by a son Jimmy Hensley and parents Columbus Dexter Hensley and Ella Camp Hensley.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Frances Millard Hensley of the home; daughter Joyce Elliott and her husand J.T of Rutherfordton; son Johnny Hensley of Rutherfordton; sister Emma Elliott of Rutherfordton and 5 grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 6 PM Wednesday at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. William Swink officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service.
