Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Charles Hailey can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Charles Weldon Hailey

Charles Weldon Hailey
Charles “Chuck” Hailey, 60, of Lake Lure, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. A native of Forsyth County, NC he was the son of Dorothy Boyd Hailey and the late Dennis Lee Hailey. Chuck was a retired purchasing agent for Greenville Hospital Systems.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Leanne Craig of Charlotte; brother, Stephen Patrick Hailey of Lake Park, NC; and his beloved dog Susie. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his life partner, Dean Egly.

Memorial services will be held 1PM Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Church of the Transfiguration, Bat Cave, NC.
