Having a wonderful time
When my mother Ruth Merelyn Jackpot Thompson Jobe, was not yet 90, she told me she did not want to live to be 90 because she didn't know any 90 year olds who were having any fun. I told Alice about this, as Alice had already turned 90. Alice went to mama and said, "Ruth, you ought to be ashamed of yourself. I'm 90 and having a perfectly wonderful time." With a straight face, Mama said, "Pat makes these things up."
