Betty Lou  Arrowood (Harris)
Betty Lou Harris Arrowood, 84, of Rutherfordton, died Thursday, July 28, 2016 at Hospice House in Forest City. She was the daughter of the late Jesse Vernon and Virginia Helen Kuykendal Harris. Betty was greatly loved by her family and community and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. She was also an active attendant of Green Hill Baptist Church near her home.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Chalmer Jayson Arrowood, 95, a WWII veteran; children, June Carver of Sandy Mush, Jennifer Callahan of Apopka, FL, Karla Wilson of McDonough, GA and Keith Arrowood of Forest City; grandchildren Marnie Beaver of Forest City, Amy Andrews of Sandy Mush, Cory Callahan of Casselberry, FL, Emily Owen of McDonough, GA and Anna Wilson of McDonough, GA; eleven great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; siblings Lewis Harris, Madge Haughn, Juanita Wall, Bobby Harris, Gloria Hudson, Dawn Bradley, Larry Harris, Jackie Camp and Danny Harris.

Funeral services will be held 11AM Monday, August 1, 2016 at Crowe’s Mortuary with Dr. Bob Morgan officiating. Interment will be private. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.
