The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Edward Womack can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

A Kind Soul...

Years ago we moved to Green Hill community when I was entering 6th grade.  Edward & Faye reached out to our family & as a result Faye & my mom became very close friends.  Their family & ours enjoyed cook outs & just sitting down & talking with one another.  Edward made himself available; if there was a need of some sort he never hesitated; he was a dear loved one & friend.  During our families own time of loss & illness he was such a support.  During the tough time of my dad's final days, Edward gladly came over to stay with dad so I could get out for a little while.  Once daddy fell & Edward came in an instant.  He picked daddy up & placed him safely in a chair; yes, he did this while having a back issue.  I wanted to strangle him at the time!   My, my, how we enjoyed those crazy stories he'd share with us!  No doubt, he is with our family as well as his own who have crossed over to the other side of Eternity.  All of us will miss him so much.  His heartfelt kindness & care will never ever be forgotten.  We thank God for having known him & his family...When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.   And remember he may be gone from our sight but never from our hearts.
