Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Tyson Guy can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Mr. Tyson Kyle Guy age 96 went home to be with The Lord on Wednesday August 23, 2017 while being cared for at Tucker Hospice House in Kannapolis, NC.
Tyson is a son of the Late William Amos and Bertie Brown Guy having been born in Duplin County, NC. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War Two, was retired from the local textile industry and was a member of Spindale United Methodist Church.
He is survived by one son Rev. Charles Guy and wife Becky of Concord, NC; grandchildren – Adina and Ted Angel, Kristy and Scott Wildman, three great grandchildren, one sister Winnie Bradham, special friend Bea Proctor as well as a number of other family and friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Janette Hamrick Guy.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel with Rev. Ross O’Neal officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The burial will take place at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with military honors provided by The Rutherford County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Spindale United Methodist Church P.O. Box 241, Spindale, NC 28160.
