Dave and I went to Spindale last summer and as always visited with Cathy.  During the visit our car started over heating and Cathy recommened a garage in Rutherfordton.  The owner checked car and found the electric fan for the radiator wasn't working correctly.  After checking around and coming up empty on a new fan, the owner ordered one for us but it wouldn't arrive until 4pm which would be a five hour wait.  Dave stayed with the car and Cathy and I rode around and had great time getting to see places and things that was once part of my everyday life.  This unexpected time with Cathy was my best memory of our annual trip to Spindale.  Cathy has been my friend since we were just little girls.  I loved Cathy and will miss her always.
