Obituary for Zay Harold Jones
Zay Harold Jones, age 88, of Bostic passed away Sunday at Hospice House. Zay was a native of Rutherford County and was a retired iron worker.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son Christopher Jones and daughter Cabot Allison Jones; grandchildren Zoie Harris and Josh Morgan.
Zay was preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Sallie Spurlin Jones; siblings Louise Martin, Erma Lee Melton, Kathleen Pitman, Russell and Joe Jones.
A service celebrating the life of Zay Jones will be held 2 PM Saturday at Crowe’s Mortuary. The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM prior to the service.
