Obituary for Willie Mae Flynn
Willie Mae Flynn, 71, of Forest City, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late Lennie Thomas Flynn and Vannie Lee Arrowood Flynn. Willie was a retired CNA.
Left to cherish her memories are Aeon Moon Lawson, Tammy Gail Dixon; siblings, Martha Butler, Tom Flynn and wife Brownie, Benny Flynn and wife Betty, Alvin Flynn, Wallace Flynn; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers Vance and Albert Flynn, sisters Tinny Shook, Jeanette Flynn, Mary Cash; and nephews, Anthony Flynn, Kevin Morgan, Charlie Flynn.
Graveside services will be held 2PM Monday, February 28, 2022 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church Cemetery with Rev. Jack Crain officiating. Miss Flynn will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills P.O. Box 336 Forest City NC 28043.
