Virginia Dare Dalton Wilson, known to family and friends as "Gin", passed away Tuesday at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Gin was a farmer and store keeper and very active in Bills Creek Community and Church. She was a lover of history and an author of a book about her beloved Bill’s Creek-" Precious Memories". She was preceded in death by husband Howard Wilson, Father Charles S. Dalton, Mother Bertha Flynn Dalton and a brother Paul Dalton.
Those left to cherish her memory include a sister Hazel Dalton Smith of Asheville, a brother Charles C. Dalton and wife Pat of Bills Creek and number of nieces, nephews, great grand nieces, nephews, great/great grand nieces and nephews.
Rev. Darold Crawford of Bills Creek Baptist Church will be officiating a private grave side service on Friday.
