Obituary for Virginia Gray Towery
Virginia Beason Towery, age 71, passed away on Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C. Born in Rutherford County, NC, Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, James Hicks Beason and Helen Gray Beason. In addition to her parents, Virginia was predeceased by her beloved son, Roger Buchanan and her brother, James Samuel Beason.
Left to cherish Virginia’s memory are her husband, Rex Jeffery Towery, Sr. and their precious dog, “Baby Girl.” Virginia will be missed and remembered by other members from the Beason, Towery, and Cannon families.
A Memorial service will be held 4 PM Friday, March 19, 2021 at Rutherfordton City Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Rutherford County Humane Society or Chase Corner Ministries, 1604 Chase High Road, Forest City, N.C. 28043.
Facial coverings and social distancing are requested.
