Obituary for Tamara Annette Hill
Tamara Annette Hill age 59 of Mt. Pleasant Church Road, Forest City. went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2021. A native of Lincoln County, West Virginia, she is the daughter of Earl McComas and the late Hulda Smith Davis and her stepfather, the late Marion Davis.
Tamara was a chaplain for the NC Baptist Men’s Association and served on mission trips in Richland, WV; Houston, TX; Key West, FL; Lima & Iquitos, Peru; and various locations in North Carolina. She was chaplain for the NC Baptist Men’s Disaster Relief Team, a Disaster relief Team Member and a chaplain for The Sandy Run Baptist Association. Tamara was a faithful member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
Tamara is survived by her husband, Charles Hill, her father Earl McComas, one daughter, Jessica Wilson (Dwayne), two sons, Jamie King (Donny), Mark McComas, II, grandson Logan Wilson, six brothers, Danny McComas, Mark McComas, Gary Davis (Jill), David Davis (Shirley), Eddie McComas (Marie), Greg McComas (Teresa), one sister, Gaylena Glorioso (Frank) and host of nieces and nephews that she loved dearly.
Funeral services will be held 2 PM, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 397 Mount Pleasant Church Road, Forest City NC 28043 with Rev. Matt Mills officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the N.C. Baptist Men’s Association P.O. Box 1107, Cary NC 27512 or to The Grace of God Rescue Mission 537 West Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
