Obituary for Sylvia Diane Pace (Ruff)
Diane Ruff Pace, 62, of Rutherfordton, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Pauline Lawter Ruff. Diane worked as a CNA.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Kellie Pace; grandson, Rian Salazar; sisters, Lois Taylor, Geneva Flynn, Juanita Wallace and Donna Rollins; brothers, Donald Ruff, Richard Ruff, Bill Ruff and Tim Ruff; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Gene Pace and a brother, Marshall Ruff.
Graveside services will be held 1PM Friday, June 10, 2022 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, 222 Mt. Pleasant Church Drive Marion, NC, with Rev. Jason Bright officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the sanctuary of the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
