It is with heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of our father, Sherman Ervin Beam. His spirit returned to the Lord on September 2nd, 2022, due to a car accident.
“Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7.
Sherman was born in June of 1959 in McDowell County. His favorite hobbies were enjoying nature, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. His greatest pride and joy was his three daughters; Brandi Hutchins, Tracie Crowder, Katie Freeman. He considered their mother, Kimberly Caradona, to be his best friend. He also loved his two grandchildren (Evyn Crowder and Eli Freeman) and nephew (Tony Horton) dearly.
A family directed memorial service will held at Westminister Baptist Church, 341 Centennial Rd, Rutherfordton NC 28139, on Friday September 9, 2022 at 11:30 am. If you would like to bring a covered dish and a chair, the family plans to fellowship and share memories following the church service.
