Ronald Oscar Wilson, age 74, of Rutherfordton, husband of Brenda Robbins Wilson passed away Sunday at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Ronald was a native of Buncombe County and son of the late Colonel Calvin Oscar Wilson and Nell Moore Wilson. He was a member of First Baptist Church Rutherfordton, a graduate of Mars Hill University, and retired financial officer for AGI.
In addition to his wife Brenda; he leaves to cherish his memory a son Andrew Wilson and wife Nancy of Aurora, Colorado; daughter Julie DiSparti and husband Spencer of Gilbert, Arizona; grandchildren Nathan, Nathalie and Annelise Wilson and Gabriel DiSparti; two sisters Joyce Lister of Camarillo, California and Janelle Grant of Lynchburg, Virginia; mother- in- law Pearl Robbins of Forest City, NC.
Memorial services will be held 3PM Sunday, June 27, 2021 at First Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. Visitation and a reception will follow the service.
