James Daves was my pastor and friend when I attended Adaville Baptist Church. He always had a smile for everyone and listened to your problems with a kind and gentle spirit. He loved music and always encouraged our trio to sing. He would joke and tell us he would be our bus driver when we went on the road to tour the country. He was there for me the night before my cancer surgery with his support and prayers. He loved the song "Stepping On The Clouds" and I believe that is what he did on February 4th as he made his entrance into heaven. Sending my love and prayers to Becky & family. Theresa Mauney
