Obituary for Patsy Ann Salmon (Day)
Spindale, NC
Patsy Ann Day Salmon, 73, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 20, 2022. She was a native of Rutherford County and a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, Louella Day Hopper and her cherished uncle and aunt, Ray and Sally Sprouse with whom she spent much of her childhood.
She is survived by her son, Chris Dale (Susan); her daughter, Patricia Tuttle (Ricky); six grandchildren: Andrew Dale (Kristen), Sarah Dale, Whitney Hess (Branden), Justin Tuttle (Molly), Erica Tuttle (TJ Burris) and Emily Tuttle Groves (Ashdon); seven great-grandchildren: Riley and Kinsley Dale, Kellin Hess, Hadlee and Haelyn Burris, Grayson and Caleb Tuttle;
She is also survived by sisters, Vickie Martin, Donna Hopper Wilson (Mike) and Cindy Hopper; brother, Danny Hopper; sisters in love, Sharon Hughes and Maxine Day, niece, Lisa Bailey and a number of other special nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held 1 PM Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church 301 Deviney Street, Spindale, NC 28160 with the Rev. Chad Sisk and Rev. Buddy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery on Rob Long Road, Rutherfordton, NC.
The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Grace of God Rescue Mission at 537 W. Main Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
