Obituary for Maxwell Howard Ledbetter

Max Ledbetter, age 91, husband of Edna Hutchins Ledbetter passed away Sunday at Henderson Care.
Max was a native of Rutherford County, a US Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict, retired from Duke Power, attended NC State University, loved restoring classic cars and was a member of Westminster Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Eunice Waters Ledbetter, parents Richard Wayne Ledbetter and Willie Inez Guffey Ledbetter along with several brothers and sisters.
In addition to his wife Edna, there leaves to cherish his memory his children Ricky (Vicki) Ledbetter of Spindale, Janice (Richard) Warren of Fort Mill, SC; grandchildren Aaron (Nicole) Ledbetter, Tyler (Kristie) Ledbetter, Taylor (Kelsey) Ledbetter, Matthew (Bonnie) Warren; great grandchildren Carson and McKenzie Ledbetter.
Graveside services will be conducted at 2 PM Tuesday December 29, 2020 at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Aaron Vess and Brent Harrill officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Rutherford County Veterans honor Guard.
