Maxine Burnett Kelly, 65, of Mill Spring passed away Monday, September 14, 2020 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. A native of Polk County, she was the daughter of Pauline Hudgins Burnett and the late Glenn Burnett. She was a member of Grassy Knob Baptist Church and previously worked at Polk County Elementary School where she loved being with the children. Maxine loved her fur babies and leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 46 years, Johnny Kelly; children Shawn Kelly and Aaron Kelly (Cindy); grandchildren, Nikki, Makala and Kathy; siblings Kathy Martin (Johnny), Darrill Burnett (Rhonda), Wayne Burnett (Lisa), Harold Burnett (Maria), Jason Burnett (Jennifer). In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Burnett.
Funeral services will be private.
