Obituary for Mary Alice Earley (Bowen)
Mary Alice Earley, 94, of Spindale, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023 at her home. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Reba Randall Bowen. Alice was a retired textile employee and a member of Spencer Baptist Church.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Phyllis Bailey and husband Danny; son, Mike Earley and wife Carolyn; grandchildren, Nikki Rhodes (Trent Parris), Dana Faust (Mark), Jennifer Abernathy (John), Allison Davidson (Jodie); great grandchildren, Cameron Rhodes, Caylee Rhodes, London Faust, Sydney Faust, Lilly Abernathy, Benji Abernathy, Mary Danner Abernathy, Owen Davidson and Ellory Davidson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dan Earley.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 AM, Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Spencer Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Caldwell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Spencer Baptist Church, 187 N. Oak Street, Spindale, NC 28160 or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
