Martha Nell Mathis Dunbar
Martha Dunbar, age 68, wife of Dudley Dunbar of 331 S. Main St. Rutherfordton, NC went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday January 24, 2021.
Martha was a native of Rutherford County, a member of Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness church and daughter of the late Grover and Ruth Guffey Mathis.
In addition to her husband Dudley, she leaves to cherish her memory her children Nikki Burgo and T.J. Dunbar (Kim); grandchildren Brittany Burgo, Gwen Capps, Avery Capps and Skylar Burgo; great grandchildren Keyani and Brionna Bush; sisters Peggy Hamrick and Gail Parton (Doug) along with a number of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Memorial services will be held 3 PM Thursday January 28, 2021 at Shingle Hollow Congregational Holiness Church with the Rev. Jamie Pascarella, Rev. Rhonda Brown and Rev. Jack Crain officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Dunbar family in Martha’s honor.
Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the Dunbar family.
The family request that social distancing and the wearing of facial coverings be observed.
