Obituary for Martha Kaye Briscoe
Martha Kaye Monteith Briscoe, age 77, of Union Mills passed away Saturday at her home. Kaye was a native of Rutherford County, retired teacher’s assistant, member of Round Hill Baptist Church, daughter of the late Howard and Ethel Stewart Monteith, widow of John Willie Briscoe; mother of the late Jeana Harrill and sister to the late Gayle, Patsy and Steve Monteith
Those left to cherish her memory are her son Lowell Briscoe of Raleigh, NC; grandson John Lawrence Briscoe, twin brother Billy Ray Monteith and a number of extended family members.
A graveside service will be held 2 PM Wednesday March 1 at Round Hill Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Mike Jones officiating.
Memorials may be made to Round Hill Baptist Church or The Juvenile Diabetes Association.
Crowe’s Mortuary is assisting the Briscoe family.
