Obituary for Margaret Louise Hodge (Burgess)

Mrs. Margaret Burgess Hodge, age 89 formerly of Rutherford County passed away Wednesday, January 15, 2020.
Margaret is a daughter of the late Roscoe and Laura Jane Radford Burgess. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by nine siblings, one son Jerry Williams, and her husband Raymond Hodge.
She is survived by her son, Robert Williams (Betty) of Woodruff, SC; her daughter, Tracy Cogdell (Clete); five grandchildren, Laranda Bivens, Rodney Bridges, Stacey Barrios, Katie Godfrey, and Jennifer Jones. She is also survived by a number of great grandchildren and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, January 18, 2020 at Crowe’s Funeral Chapel, 118 College Ave. Rutherfordton, NC 28139. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Margaret will be laid to rest at Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery in Forest City, NC.
