Margaret Toney Andrews, age 87, of Forest City went to her Heavenly Home on Friday October 29 while being cared for at Rutherford Regional Medical Center. Margaret was a native of McDowell County, retired from plastics manufacturing and a member of Second Baptist Church in Rutherfordton. She was preceded in death by her first husband Glenn Duncan, second husband Paris Andrews; two brothers Howard and Robert Toney and her parents Gaston and Kathleen Jenkins Toney.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son Steve Duncan and wife Doris of Forest City, a daughter Gloria Allen and husband Tim of South Port, NC; grandchildren Jessica Jackson, Jason Ruff and Sherry Beaver as well as 9 great grandchildren; sisters Helen Duncan of Marion, NC and Wilma Cook of Fairview.
Graveside services will be 1 PM Monday November 1st at Eternal Hills Memorial Park with Dr. Keith Stephenson officiating. The family will receive friends Sunday October 31 at Crowe’s Mortuary from 3-4 PM.
